FastDUCT Sheet Metal Estimating software has now been in use for over one year and is in use by over
40 contractors. Most of these FastDUCT users were already using FastPIPE, which is a testament to the loyalty of our customers and to the strength of our product. While it’s nice to receive an award for our product as shown in the article to the right, it is even more gratifying to be able to provide an additional useful tool to those who have long supported us.
As we have gotten through the initial development of FastDUCT, we have now begun to receive the valuable feedback from our customers to make improvements to both the program and the database.
The latest release of FastPIPE and FastDUCT begins to incorporate some of this customer feedback to improve both products. We also have added Milwaukee ball valves, industrial valves, and butterfly valves to the database for FastPIPE.

FastDUCT wins 2007 Dealer Design Award from the NEWS
FastDUCT Sheet Metal Estimating Software was the Bronze Award Winner infourth annual Dealer Design Awards sponsored by the NEWS, a weekly magazine for air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration contractors. The award honors new products in contractor services and software. The full article about the awards can be seen on page 46 of the July 16, 2007 issue of the NEWS.
FastDUCT was selected among other software entrants by a panel of judges, consisting of contractors and industry professionals. One of the judges cited, “The layout is user-friendly.” Another judge said that the product has “outstanding technical documentation and applications that are easy-to-learn.” A third added that FastDUCT “looks like a good program.”
Announcing FastPIPE & FastDUCT Training Session in Las Vegas on Oct. 22
FastEST, Inc. will be conducting a one day training session in Las Vegas on Monday, October 22 for both FastPIPE and FastDUCT. The exact location is yet to be determined, based on response from our customers. The class will focus on Catalog Maintenance, Template Set-Up, Spec Set-up, Job Takeoffs, and Reports. The class will begin at 8:30 and end at 5:00. Lunch and beverages will be provided. Respond as soon as possible if you are interested in attending this class.
